Joe Mike Murphy, DDS, FAGD
A native Texan, Dr. Joe Mike Murphy graduated from Baylor University in 1974 with his undergraduate degree. He went on to receive his doctorate in dental studies from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1977. Soon after, the doctor opened his private practice and began delivering customized care focused on patients’ individual needs and preferences.
Educational Accomplishments
An advocate of continuing education, Dr. Murphy continually expands his knowledge and skill set through post-graduate study in the areas of general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative techniques, and sedation. Dr. Murphy was one of the nation’s initial class of highly trained dentists in the field of implant dentistry. His advanced knowledge and experience allow him to perform the surgery to place the implants and restore smiles with custom-made replacement teeth. Dr. Murphy is a graduate of the Misch Implant Institute, one of the world’s most prestigious implant teaching organizations.

The doctor has attained Diplomate status in the American Board of Oral Implantology, the highest accreditation offered in the realm of Implant education. Dr. Murphy has attained Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and Misch Implant Institute. Along with more than 23 years of implant experience, this makes him someone you can call upon for both advice and treatment of the challenging problems conventional dentistry cannot solve.
